Michael Jeffrey Jacob, 73, of Oshkosh, formerly of Winneconne, died Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his home. He was born June 5, 1952, in Neenah. Mike was a 1970 graduate of Neenah High School. He served in the Army National Guard from 1970 until 1976. While in high school Mike started working with the family business, Quality Printing Co. Inc. in Neenah, and worked there until 2015; he then worked part-time for Morton Pharmacy. On September 3, 1999, Mike married Debra Gillick Materna. His hobbies included boating, duck hunting, golf, fishing, casino trips, travel adventures with Deb, and car trips.
Mike is survived by his wife and best friend, Debra Jacob; children, Becky (Paul) Quandt, Matthew Jacob, Todd (Dawn) Jacob, Elizabeth Materna, Samuel Materna; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter, Mitchell (Synamin) Jacob and their daughter Wynter Jacob; Mason Jacob, Ellis Jacob; two sisters, Sandy Jacob, Debora “Sr. Danielle” Jacob; in-laws, Donna Wicinsky, Joe Gillick, Joyce (Darv) Koneman, Patti (Tom) Otto, Tim Gillick, Rick (Laurie) Peotter, Bev (Bob) Popp, Carla (Chris) Pye, Donna Tuttle, Jane Johnson, Sandi (Craig) Mueller, Vicki Eskew (Mike Meyerhofer), Linda (Mark) Coenen; many special nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding Mike in death was his first wife, Sue (Peotter) Jacob; his parents, Lyle and Doris (Helbach) Jacob; a brother, Charles Jacob; mothers-in-law, Elsie Gillick (Arden) Christensen, Gina Peotter; in-laws, Ted Jr. and Julie Gillick, Susan Adams, Mike Wicinsky.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 3 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the Winneconne Cemetery at a later date.
