Michael R. Jacobson, age 67, of Winneconne, husband, father, brother, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born April 9, 1951, in Menasha to the late Robert and Ellen (Chadek) Jacobson. For 40 years Mike was employed by Neenah Paper. On November 19, 1980, he married Pamela Hogen. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed trapping and hunting. He loved to read and had an opinion on just about anything. Michael is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pamela Jacobson; a son, Ryan Jacobson; siblings, Patrick (Connie) Jacobson, Timothy (Cheryl) Jacobson, Gary Jacobson, David Jacobson, Jon Jacobson, Mary Ellen Jacobson (special friend, Jeff Ford), Dean Jacobson (special friend, Karen Cunningham), Jill (Ken) Rodgers; sisters-in-law, Jean (Tom) Pionke, Sandy Elzey; nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends; his best girl, Otter; and his buddy, Baxter. Along with his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Jacobson; his grandparents, Ervin and Edna Jacobson; a nephew, Lucas Jacobson; and a great-nephew, Maxwell Jacobson. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. No funeral service will be held. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for the Milwaukee Children's Hospital.
