Obituary

Nathan Struensee, age 90, of the Town of Clayton, died Monday December 14, 2015, at his residence. He was born on March 21, 1925, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to the late David and Sylvia (Grundman) Struensee. On October 12, 1946, Nathan married Vivian Bonnett at the First Presbyterian Church in Neenah, where they are members. He had worked at local Co-op's, Benson Insulation, Sawyer Paper, along with farming into his 80s with Vivian in the Town of Clayton. Nathan is survived by his grandsons, David (Gina) Struensee, of Menasha; Dan (Heidi) Struensee, Darwin (Sarah) Struensee, all of Appleton; eight great-grandchildren, Jake, Nathan, Drew, Lauren, Will, Brock, Brody, and Tenley Struensee; one sister, Arvilla Luebke; one sister-in-law, Vera (Bonnett) Duesterbeck. Along with his parents, Nathan was also preceded in death by his son Greg on December 19, 1998, wife Vivian on January 29, 2009, and a sister, Nita Tellock on March 5, 2015. A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah with Pastor Richard Moore officiating.
