Peter Jeffrey Hansen Winneconne, Wisconsin Peter Jeffrey Hansen, age 66, of Winneconne, died Thursday, October 20, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. He was born August 14, 1945, in Milwaukee to the late Ellis and Helen (Anderson) Hansen. Peter was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. On December 26, 1970, he married Jane Marie Pansch in Neenah. For 31 years Peter worked for IBM, 27 of which were in Rochester, Minnesota. Upon his retirement in 1999, he and Jane moved to Winneconne. Peter was an avid race car fan and enjoyed many years of snowmobiling in the winter. He was a member of the Fox Vettes Corvette Club. Peter is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jane Hansen, of Winneconne; two daughters, Debra Jane Hansen, of Pewaukee; Jennifer Ann Hansen, of Rochester, Minnesota; one grandson, Trevor Anthony Lovgren, of Pewaukee; one sister, Martha Hansen Kohler, of Lafayette, California; and other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, with Pastor Kevin Heffernan officiating. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.
