Raymond H. Zeinert, 86, of Larsen, died Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was born in Larsen on February 20, 1938, to the Erwin and Nora (Breaker) Zeinert. On November 28, 1959, Ray married Sally Gutoski at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. For over 40 years Ray worked at Pluswood later becoming International Paper, retiring as a maintenance foreman in 2002; enjoying 22 years of retirement. Ray enjoyed woodworking, golfing, playing cards, and fishing. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Winneconne.
Ray is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Sally Zeinert; two sons, Randy (Heather) Zeinert, Joe (Dawn) Zeinert; a granddaughter, Morgan Zeinert; sisters and brothers, Doris Behm, Gordy Zeinert, Lee Zeinert, Lois Whitcomb, Herb Zeinert, Bonnie Zeinert; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding Ray in death were his parents, Erwin Zeinert and Nora Zeinert McKinley; two brothers and in-laws, Marvin and June Zeinert, Leonard "Red" and Phyllis Zeinert, Elnor Behm, Carrie Zeinert, Glen Zeinert, Art Eiden, Bob Whitcomb, Carol Zeinert; and other relatives and close friends.
Ray's family wishes to thank the staffs of Cherry Meadows Hospice, ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah, Fresenius Kidney Care-Neenah, and volunteer ride services for all the care and concern given to him.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church 210 Pleasant Dr. Winneconne. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the Clayton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ray's name may be made to Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton.
