Richard Kurtz Sr. passed away on April 2, 2022, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He loved hunting, fishing, cooking, and making people smile. Rick always made sure that his wife came first. He loved his family and his grandchildren very much.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Anna; his children, Kevin (Daphne) Carley, Kelly (Josh) Werth, Kenny (Karen) Carley, Casey Jenks (Josh), and Ricky (Heather) Kurtz; his grandchildren, Ramona, Ivy, Jordan, Kevin, Melanie, Joshua, Bethany, Lilyanna, Olivia, Logan, Mason, Eliana, Kaedin, Makenna, Holden, Maddyn, and Declan; his great-grandchildren, Nirvana and Joshua; his father, Jim (Pat) Kurtz; his stepfather, Ray Benedict, and his siblings Kelly, Sherry (Brian), and Jeff (Katherine).

He joins many loved ones in Heaven including his grandmother, Dorothy Hennamen; his mother, Linda Benedict; his sister, Carol Kurtz; and his grandchildren, Samuel and Hannah.

To honor his wishes, there are no funeral services planned. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.

One of Rick's greatest gifts was his heart of gold, he was loved, and is missed by many.
