Obituary

Robert E. Lee, age 84, of Poygan, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at home. He was born November 28, 1929, on the family farm in Poygan to the late Leslie and Anna (Schmude) Lee. On April 23, 1955, Bob married Louise Amundson at the Borth United Methodist Church. Along with working the family farm, Bob also hauled milk for Wagner's Cheese Factory in Weyauwega for 18 years, worked at Wagner's Electric in Winneconne for 10 years, and for 6 years worked for Muza Metal until his retirement. Bob enjoyed mowing lawn with his riding mower up until a couple of years ago, and he loved reading history of the Civil War, presidents, and Abraham Lincoln. Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise Lee; six children, Alan (April) Lee, Debbie (John) Schoonover, Cindy (Mike) Rank, Patty (Mark) Meton, Betty (Paul) Ulrich, Dale Lee; twelve grandchildren, Robert Lee, Jeremy (Bethany) Schoonover, Kathy (Tim) Shreve, Laura Schoonover, Melissa Rank (fiancé, Shain Wahlen), Aaron (Suzana) Rank, Adam Ulrich, Jennifer Ulrich (fiancé, Zach Schmick), Lisa Anklam, Tyler Anklam, Michael Meton, Josh Bartow; five great- grandchildren, Kaylie and Kaden Shreve, Lillian and Adela Schoonover, Evan Rank; two sisters, Bernice (Norman) Flanigan, and Janice Lee; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kenneth (Bernice) Amundson, Richard "Dick" (Myra) Amundson, Donald Amundson, Delores (David) Domke, Donna (Bill) Hayes, Marlene (Raymond) Decker, June (Joe) Dobrynski, Rodney Schmidt; and many other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Bob was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Raymond Lee, Arden Lee, Kenneth (June) Lee, Jim (Arlette) Lee. A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, May 30, 2014, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, and will continue on Saturday, May 31 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Borth United Methodist Church, W304 Cty Rd D. A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor George Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Borth Cemetery.
