Ronald R. Pelz Berlin, Wisconsin Ronald R. Pelz, age 66, of Berlin, died Sunday, September 26, 2010, at home. He was born August 12, 1944, in Oshkosh to the late Edwin and Gladys Coralie (Jackson) Pelz. On July 16, 1966, Ron married Carol Bloch at the Borth United Methodist Church. He worked construction and took over his parent's farm in the Town of Rushford. Ron also worked with his parents at their trailer park in Stuart, Florida, later becoming co-owner of the park with his two sisters. Until moving to Berlin three years ago, Ron had lived his whole life in the same house on the farm. Ron had an interest in antique engines, and he and some friends spent Monday nights working on them. He had a passion for elk hunting in Colorado, enjoyed fishing in Canada, golfing, collecting antiques, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Borth United Methodist Church. Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Pelz, of Berlin; one son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Jennifer Pelz, and their children, Kyle and Jackson Pelz, of Appleton; one daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Tim Bartol, and their children, Josie, Claire, and Becca Bartol, of Berlin; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Glen Frank, of Stuart, Florida; Janice and Floyd Taylor, of Elton, Wisconsin; and nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service for Ron will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Borth United Methodist Church, W304 Cty Rd D, with Pastor George Groves officiating. Burial will be in the Borth Cemetery. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, September 30 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, and will continue on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
