Scott Edward Wencka Oshkosh, Wisconsin Scott Edward Wencka, age 39, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly, Friday evening July 10, 2009. He was born July 9, 1970 in Milwaukee, the son of the late George and Grace (Szelmeczka) Wencka. In his early years Scott enjoyed vacationing with his family on Lake Winneconne, where he enjoyed many hours of fishing, which later became his favorite pastime. Eventually he moved to Winneconne and had been employed at Stainless Unlimited in Omro and Daul Industries in Berlin. Since 2004, Scott has resided in Oshkosh. Scott is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Ken Carpenter, one nephew, Joe Saylor, and two nieces, Amber and Ashley Carpenter, all of Omro. Cremation has taken place and Scott's family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne.
