Shawn E. Hewitt, age 48, of Menasha, died, Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born April 12, 1972, to John III and Carole (Redlin) Hewitt. Shawn was a 1992 graduate of Winneconne High School. He owned and operated The Landscape Contractors. Shawn enjoyed hunting and fishing and was looking forward to sturgeon spearing this season. He was known for his willingness to help anyone who needed it.

Shawn is survived by two daughters, Gabrielle and Samantha; his significant other, Jenna Vande Wettering; two brothers and a sister, John (Carol) Hewitt, Julianne (Gary) Reif, Jaime (Lori) Hewitt; an uncle he was especially close to, Tim Hewitt; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Preceding Shawn in death were his parents, John Hewitt III and Carole Redlin.

A graveside service and interment will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Winneconne Cemetery. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
