Steven P. LeMere, age 58, of Milwaukee, WI passed away at home on Thursday evening, August 16, 2018. He was born on June 12, 1960, in Appleton, WI, the son of Clayton LeMere and the late Cecelia (Hardy) LeMere. He graduated from Appleton East High School in 1978 and went on to receive a degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Along with other jobs, Steve taught in the art department at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Steve is survived by his father, Clayton (Lola) LeMere, of Winneconne; a brother, Thomas C. LeMere, of Viroqua, WI; four sisters, Renee (John) Biesterveld, of Rhinelander, WI; Rachelle (Steve) Brinkman, of Appleton, WI; Marie Brudos, of De Soto, WI; and Lynn (Ted) LeMere Kopet, of Minneapolis, MN; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Dominic) Irungu, Thomas (Ashley) Brudos, Michael Brudos, Amanda Biesterveld, and Mark Brinkman; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Along with his mother, Steve was also preceded in death by a brother, Gregory LeMere; sister-in-law, Connie Frank; and step-mother, Dolly. He will be missed by family; his good friend, Jen Skladanek; his dog, Jack; and many other friends of the Riverwest community in Milwaukee, WI. A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at the Riverwest Public House 815 E. Locust St. Milwaukee.
