Therese "Tina" (Dobbe) Seelow

January 6, 1963 – August 30, 2023

Work hard. Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper. Love our life and what you've been given – it's not accidental. Some of the best things in life really are free. Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know. Live for today – enjoy the moment. Tina decorated her home with these words and lived by them daily.

Tina was born in Neenah on January 6, 1963. She grew up in Larsen and graduated from Winneconne High School in 1981. Interacting with her friends and family in the Winneconne area was important to her, so she carried that over into her work by waitressing and bartending in local restaurants. Later she was hired at Wisconsin Tissue Mills in Neenah which provided for her to purchase a home in the Tustin area, where she lived until she married Sam Seelow in 1998.

Tina was enjoying life, but she had a dream to reach a new goal, so in 2004, she enrolled in the Surgical Technician program at NWTC. In 2006 she achieved her goal and proudly graduated from NWTC! She worked as a surgical tech until her retirement in 2022. As Tina believed and had hanging on her wall – Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.

Tina's life was full in so many respects. She enjoyed time together with family and friends, often combined with hunting, fishing, tubing, boating, gardening, canning, or trap shooting. A highpoint of her year was the annual Halloween Bike Ride. She and Sam could be seen riding their bikes in the area wearing costumes lovingly designed and created by Tina herself. The costumes brought lots of laughs, winning prizes from competitions, and perfect photos for their upcoming Christmas cards!

For many years, Sam and Tina provided fresh produce and flowers to local customers from their ever-expanding collection of greenhouses in their backyard. Oakwood Gardens brought much joy to them as they worked hard, enjoyed meeting their customers, and shared their flowers with everyone in the area. Tina housed lots of fun pets on her little animal farm at Oakwood Gardens, but her favorites were her dogs. She never considered a house complete without the pitter patter of doggie feet. She adored all her dogs and called them her fur babies.

Tina leaves behind a loving family which includes her husband, Sam Seelow; parents, David and Bonnie Dobbe; sisters, Michelle Dobbe, Sarina (Mark "Bud" Siddall) Dobbe; brother, Matt (Monica) Dobbe; stepchildren, Wendy (Greg) Harness, Nathan (Carrie) Seelow; step-grandchildren, Cody Harness, Annaliyah Seelow, Laura Harness, Daniel Harness, Lainey Seelow, & Aaron Harness. She also loved her many nieces and nephews: Amber Garrigan, Spencer Tate, Malachi Dobbe, DJ Salaman, Kyra Dobbe, Clayton Dobbe, Travis Dobbe, Nathan Rutherford, Melissa Burnham, Nik Volden, Kiley Volden, Tanner Volden, Jake Dobbe, and Jackie Dobbe; in addition, she was blessed with many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Dobbe; and a niece, Stephanie Dobbe.
