Thomas Graf, age 64, of Oshkosh, died Thursday, March 13, 2014, at home. He was born December 23, 1949, in Oshkosh to Alvin and Virginia (Van Dyke) Graf. Tom was a 1968 graduate of Lourdes Academy. He served his country in the U.S Navy from 1968 until 1971. On June 5, 1971, he married Alice Nicolaison in Oshkosh. Tom graduated from Fox Valley Technical College in 1972 and for 39 years he worked for Oshkosh Corp. until his retirement in June of 2012. Tom enjoyed playing poker and golf, and was a member of Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, and the Daugherty-Hamilton American Legion Post 234, Omro. Tom was instrumental in raising over $150,000 for various local cancer organizations. Surviving Tom are his wife of 42 years, Alice Graf; two children, Erika Graf (Moss) Ruedinger, Andrew Graf (Sarah Towne); three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Porter, and Zayne; three brothers, David (Susan) Graf, Daniel (Janice), Stephen (Jean) Graf; his Aunt Beanie, Bernice Hildebrandt; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Community Church, 2351 Ryf Rd. Oshkosh. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the church with Pastor Alan Cleveland officiating. Military honors will follow. Tom's body was donated to U.W. Hospital and Clinic, Madison.
