Vincent "Cap" Caporale III, age 65, of Winneconne, died Monday, March 15, 2021, at home. He was born April 2, 1955, in Massachusetts to Vincent Jr. and Rita (Arcari) Caporale. Vinnie was a graduate of Waupun High School. He had worked in the Florida prison system and for over 20 years at the Wisconsin Resource Center in Oshkosh until his retirement.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, the outdoors, time by the campfire, and was very detailed about mowing his lawn. Vinnie seldom missed one of Tyler's football or baseball games, and in years past played in many cribbage tournaments. He enjoyed talking politics with his buddies and did research on various topics.

Vinnie is survived by his fiancée, Connie Adams; son, Tyler Adams; his mother, Rita Caporale; his brother, Bernie (Judy) Caporale, and nephews, Chris and Nick Caporale, who he was very proud of. He is also survived by Connie's siblings and their families, Kelly and Annette Gross, Scott and Carol Gross, Carol and Jerry Schmoker, Dusty Gross, Tracy and Ian Hintzke, Katie and Jeff Clark.

Preceding Vinnie in death was his father, Vincent Caporale Jr.

Per Vinnie's wishes there will be no service held. Mueller Funeral Home-Winneconne is assisting the family.
