Violet Blanche (Kaltenbrun) Bateman passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Care Partners Assisted Living in Winneconne, WI at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late George Bateman. Loving mother of George Bateman, Ridgefield, WA; William Bateman, West Yellowstone, MT; Kathleen (Fenton) Glendening, Long Beach, CA; Carol La Fever (Mark Plummer), Winneconne, WI; Nancy (George) Bloomberg, Waupaca, WI; proud grandmother to Greg and Garrett Bloomberg, T.J. and Chad La Fever. Surviving brother and sister, Richard Kaltenbrun, Redondo Beach, CA; Delores Horvath, New Berlin, WI. Ms. Bateman was a long time member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa. A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church 1615 Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. The family interment service will be on Thursday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in King, WI where Violet's and George's cremains will be laid to rest together.
