William "Bill" J. Behling, Jr. Winneconne, Wisconsin William "Bill" J. Behling, Jr. age 59, of Winneconne, passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 7, 2009, at home. He was born September 16, 1950 in Milwaukee to the late William, Sr. and Tillie (Kratchy) Behling. Bill served in the U.S. Army in the DMZ in Korea from 1967 until 1970. On June 5, 1999, he married Theresa Keller Thompson. For the past 12 years Bill has been employed as a truck driver with Chief Industrial Services in Winneconne. He was a member of the Winneconne Masonic Lodge #186. Bill was a great hearted person who will be missed by his family and friends. He loved his truck-driving and also enjoyed the art of cooking and grilling. For anyone that was not able to partake in one of his "homecookins", they missed out on a good meal. Bill is survived by his wife, Theresa Behling, of Winneconne; one daughter, Kelly (Roger) Rayzor, and child, Alexandria, of Pompano Beach, Florida; two sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Rose, of Milwaukee; Cindy (Joe) Craddock, of Las Vegas, Nevada; four step-daughters, Michelle (Dave) Hanseder, and children, Madisen and Trenton, of Winneconne; Colleen Thompson (partner, Jim Gullickson), and children, Zaira and Jetta, of Madison; Kelly Kalwitz, and children, Brandon, Scott, Jr., and Trevor, of Appleton; Holly Thompson, and children, Hannah, Devon, Brittany, and Zaynah, of Oshkosh; one step-granddaughter, Noelle; three brothers-in-law, Tom (Mary) Keller, of Germantown; Tim (Wendy) Keller, of Neenah; Ted Keller, of Neenah; his special second family, Joe and Roxanne Roehrick and all of the employees at Chief Industrial Services; and special friends, Tom and Lori Gehrke, Bill and Teri Leinweber, Ken Thrun, Ed Baugrud, and Tom and Diana Hanseder; and many other relatives and friends. Along with his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by a step-son, Marshall Thompson; and a nephew, Max Bishop. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Mueller Funeral Home, Winneconne, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at which time a Tribute to a Veteran Service will be held, followed by a Masonic Service, followed by a Funeral Service.
