IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Marvin
Krause
August 14, 1951 – January 7, 2025
William Marvin Krause, a devoted husband, father, and brother, is doing "better than he deserves". On March 16, 1980, he experienced the greatest event of his life, when he personally accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. From that point on, he always said he was "better than he deserved" and would explain when asked "I've read the Bible, I saw I'm a sinner deserving to go to hell, I accepted Christ as my savior and I'm not going — so I already am getting better than I deserve!"
Bill passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Krause, and their son, Joshua Krause, who is married to Bailey, and their children, Ryker, and Clara. William is also survived by his four siblings: Marcia Saylor, who is married to Bronson, Connie Vallow, who is married to Bernard, Duane Krause, and Renee Sharratt, who was married to Jim (who passed away).
William served honorably in the United States Air Force for 33 years, spanning both his 11 years of enlisted service and 22 years as a civilian Department of Defense civil servant. During his tenure, he held the positions of Contracting Specialist and Director of Business Operations in the contracting squadrons at Dyess AFB, Loring AFB, and Whiteman AFB.
In addition to his immediate family, William leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will fondly remember him. He is also survived by Peggy's siblings: Susie Tiede, who is married to Ty, Sam Maronn, who is married to Patty, Nancy Noffke, who is married to Lee, and Dan Maronn, who is married to Tomoka.
