Yvonne M. Zobel, age 80 of Butte des Morts, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center of Oshkosh. She was born on February 20, 1946, to the late Henry and Georgia (Zanetis) Kimmel in Vincennes, IN.

Yvonne met Norm Zobel in 1988, and when they married in1994, she became a beloved part of his family, forming loving bonds with his six children and their families. She was deeply loved by the entire family, and she loved each of them wholeheartedly in return. Yvonne also shared a very close bond with her sister, Helen, and cherished her relationship with her nephews and their families. Family was very important to Yvonne, and the love she shared with those closest to her was a meaningful part of her life.

Yvonne dedicated 30 years of her life as the Town of Winneconne Clerk, a role she cherished deeply and served with passion and commitment. Her love for her work and her community shone brightly, and she made a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure to know her. Her enthusiasm for her job was evident in every interaction, as she took pride in serving the residents of Winneconne with grace and a genuine smile.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Norman Zobel; children, Mary Kaye (Rodney) Balzar, Nancy Costen, Julie (Richard) Luker, Gail Yanacek, John (Melissa) Zobel, and Michael (Brandyn) Zobel; grandchildren, Angela (Brad), Anton (Kyla), Armin, Alex, Keeley (Ryan), Jared, Cameron (Payton), Elliott (Katie), Brooke, George, Max, Abby, Mallory, Lindsey, Parker, Mason, Cole, and Tyson; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Anderson (Terry); nephews, Mike (Beth) Anderson and Chuck (Jessica) Anderson; great-nieces, Rachel (Logan), Georgia, Lacy (Justin), and MacKenzie; great-great-niece-and-nephews, Ryder, Kealyn, and Lincoln. She is further survived by many cousins.

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her brother-and-sisters-in-law Geraldine Zobel, Corinne Leichtfuss, and Paul Zobel.

A memorial service for Yvonne will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, WI 54986, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Mark Laatsch. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
