As a CNA at Valley VNA, I have grown rather close to Ollie. He was a very special man. He was so proud of his family, as he would tell me all about his kids and grandkids! It was an honor to know such a wonderful man, and my thoughts and prayers will remain with the family throughout this hard time.

Ollie was a great neighbor and friend. He introduced me to Skeet shooting at the gun club shortly after our family moved to Winneconne. My dog would sneak out of our yard and visit Ollie quite often .Ollie said that he likes the company. A very nice man who will be missed.

I first had the distinct pleasure of meeting "Ollie" back in 1989 when I became close friends with his beloved daughter, Bobbie. Over the years, I was honored to spend time with Ollie, Arlene, and their family at their lovely lakeside home in Winneconne. Ollie was a true character. He was a talker and a thinker who relished sharing stories and opinions on a wide variety of topics with his family and friends. Ollie was not afraid to speak his mind. He spoke of his children and grandchildren with great pride. I am so blessed that Ollie and Arlene raised the beautiful daughter who for the past 27 years, I've called friend. I will miss Ollie's quick wit, interest in people and the world around him, and love of the spoken word. He is at peace now, reunited with his dear wife, Arlene. I'm sure God welcomed Ollie him home with the words, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
