In 2004 Theda and Abe were honored at the State Fair for the sesquicentennial of the Larson farm.

I knew our aunt as much by stories from mom as in person. I know she cared deeply for all of her family, always made you feel welcome and was as strong a person as you'll know without ever seeking personal glory. I know she had a wonderful reunion w Ben and all of our family members who have passed on. God bless you Aunt Theda for being such a great example for all of us!

I had the pleasure of meeting Theda two years ago. She graciously agreed to let me interview her for a book I wrote on local history. She was so proud of her father (Leonard)and her family. What a sweet lady she was. I will always remember the stories she told about her famous flying family. She beamed when she recalled as a little girl that her father would return from one of his flying adventures, he would always bring her a gift...a can of peanuts. She will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to Abe and the entire family.

I only know her wonderful granddaughters, but she sounded like a wonderful person if her grandchildren are any indication. Be at peace with God

In my years of living in the Winchester/Larsen area it was my honor to have known Theda. We worked together on making layettes for Lutheran World Relief. If there was a job to be done, one could always be sure, that if you had Theda on your team, you would get it done. Her kindness, gentle nature and smile will be missed by many. I am a better person for having known her.
