Georgia “Babe” S. Jensen, 84, of the Town of Vinland passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

She was born October 6, 1939, in Neenah to the late Frank and Lillian (Gibson) Reese. On October 4, 1958, she married Thomas Jensen at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah.

Babe was employed by Jewelers Mutual Insurance, Georgia Pacific, Radiology Associates, and lastly as the treasurer for the Town of Vinland. She also farmed with Tom on his family farm. Georgia enjoyed doing puzzles, sewing crafts, playing cards, taking her daily walks, and Friday fish frys.

Georgia is survived by her four children, Sue (Jim) Memler, Nancy (Doug) Pierce, Tom (Tina) Jensen, Tim (Lori) Jensen; grandchildren, Dan (Emily) Sleik, Bryan (Lacey) Sleik, Matt (Brittney) Sleik, Katie (Brittany) Pierce, Nick Pierce, Alex Pierce, Corey (Shanon) Brickner, Brett  (Erica) Brickner, Reese Jensen, Andy Jensen; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Hattie, and Braxton Sleik, Jameson and Walker Sleik, Fletcher Sleik, Layla and Hayden Brickner, Ella and Lilly Brickner; a brother, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, Buzz and Kay Reese, Maxine Reese, Bill Jensen, Daryl and Gwen Jensen, Jan Jensen; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Along with her parents Georgia was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Tom Jensen; brothers, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, Bob and Irmogene Reese, Jack Reese, Adelbert, Jr. and Betty Jensen, Mary Jensen, and Don Jensen.

Georgia’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to all of her caregivers at Silverstone Memory Care and Moments Hospice. Their excellent care and compassion were a great comfort.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Paul Vidmar officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks Cemetery, Town of Vinland.
