Darrell L. Tritt, 83, of Omro, died Friday, February 9, 2024, at home. He was born April 16, 1940, to the late James Sr. and Hazel (Feavel) Tritt. Darrell was a 1959 graduate of Omro High School. On August 7, 1982, he married Judy (Peck) Faust. For over 30 years, Darrell worked at Mercury Marine until his retirement. He also farmed on the Tritt family farm. Darrell enjoyed camping, hunting, shooting pool, and golfing. He was a member of St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne.

Darrell is survived by children and their families, Rick (Carol) Tritt, of Omro, and granddaughter Madyson; Anthony (Glynne) Faust, of Fond du Lac, and granddaughter Lauren (Frank) Graumann and great-grandson Clayton; Steven (Maggie) Faust, of Oshkosh, and grandchildren Mimi and great-grandson Koda, Carson (Abby); Natalie (Troy) Engelman, of Oshkosh; his special friend, MaryAnn Johnson; sisters, Faye Hoffman, Phyllis Silverthorn; sister-in-law, Norie Tritt; brother-in-law, Eugene Allen; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Darrell was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy; his daughter, Tammy Armstrong; brothers, sister, and in-laws, Harlan and Tootie Tritt, James Tritt Jr., Peggy Allen, Bernie Silverthorn, and Art Hoffman.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, and will continue on Thursday, February 15 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 8 S. 4th St. Winneconne. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Ben Berger officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Town of Poygan.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Darrell’s name can be made to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Compassus Hospice, Disabled American Veterans, or the Shriners.
