Peter “Pete” David Kasuboski, 55, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. He was born February 2, 1970, in Berlin, WI to Daniel Kasuboski and Patsy Smith.

Pete grew up in Eureka, WI, and he graduated from Berlin High School. His education continued at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He graduated in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He worked for several years for the Wisconsin Correction System, but found his true calling in plumbing. He settled in Winneconne to begin his long career in the plumbing industry where he eventually established his own business, Kascade Plumbing. Pete was a plumbing wizard. He rolled up his sleeves, worked hard, and always got the job done. He loved his customers who often became his friends.

Pete’s pride and joy were his two kids, Kaitlyn and Nick. He also adored his two grandbabies, Everett and Patrick. He had a special bond with each. You could find him and Kaitlyn sitting on the dock and enjoying the view of the lake, watching movies together, or talking about their shared love of reading. Pete and Nick shared an intense passion for fishing and could be found together in the worst conditions on Lake Poygan, soaking wet, just wanting to get one more walleye. Pete loved watching Everett’s t-ball games as well as making little Patrick belly laugh. His grandbabies could never do any wrong in his eyes. As a family, they cherished boat rides, grilling out, and listening to George Strait. Pete was a passionate outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Pete also was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, even if every team disappointed him (almost) every year.

Pete is survived by his two grandsons, Everett and Patrick Beattie. He is also survived by his two children, Kaitlyn (George) Beattie and Nick (Daydre) Kasuboski, along with their mother, Kristin Kasuboski. He is further survived by his siblings, Jeffery (Therese) Kasuboski, Julie (Jim) Birschbach, Scott (Michelle) Kasuboski, and Paul Kasuboski. He is further survived by his step-father, Melvin “Butch” (Vera) Smith; in-laws, Ralph and Sandy Giessen; uncle, Tom Zillges; many nieces and nephews, cousins, countless friends, and his labrador, Mya.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patsy Smith; a precious grandchild who was born sleeping; his mother in-law, Kathleen Giessen; his beloved labrador, Jasmin; his father, Daniel Kasuboski; and his grandparents.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mueller Funeral Home 904 E. Main St, Winneconne, WI 54986. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Paul Vidmar officiating.
