We are sad to announce the untimely passing of our beautiful daughter Emily May Kromm who was taken away from us far too early. Emily was born July 7, 2001, in Berlin, WI the daughter of Adam and Nicole (Beidinger) Kromm. Emily grew up in Omro and was a student at Omro High School where she was going to be a junior this year. Emily was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Winneconne, WI.
Emily is survived by parents; her siblings, Ashley (6th grade) and Peter (2nd grade); grandparents, Peter and Diane Kromm, Harold Beidinger. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Julia (Judd) Hodgen, Rebecca (Aaron) Achterberg, Rachel (Richie) Olejnik; cousins, Nolan and Drew Achterberg, Tristan Hodgen, Richie Olejnik; her boyfriend, Ben Stone; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by Bonnie Peterson, Nicole's mom.
Emily was a member of the cross country and track team, played clarinet in the school band, was part of the dance team in past years and was a member of the Poygan-G0-Getters 4-H club. Emily enjoyed hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, being goofy with her siblings and cousins, going camping with her family, swimming in the family pool, and traveling around the world. Emily had a very special relationship with her grandparents (Papa and Grandma Kromm). Emily was very loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 27 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 8 S. Fourth St. Winneconne, WI 54986. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, August 28 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church. There will be a meal to follow before Emily is laid to rest at the Omro Cemetery. Flowers or condolences may be sent to the church.
